I am mostly a Phal person, so I lurk here more than post. This is a complex that is ready to be repotted. Is my only option to bite the bullet and try to get it apart with as little damage as possible or does anyone have any good tips for getting this out and apart without half destroying it...

May I never have to type that name out again. This flower is very cupped which is not easy to see in the picture. Someone told me this would probably be expected from this cross. I don't have a clue. I really like it though.

Yeah, they are growing beside the Phals. These get a bit more light that most of my collection. These came large and in great shape. So that helped a good bit. They have put out good roots since I got them.

I don't post much here. I'm mostly into Phals. My slipper collection is limited. I really like this one though. I bought it from Big Leaf Orchids. There is one with 4 flowers just starting to open in the background. Ben

Thanks! The plant is a little beat up, and I am told with more growths and size, this will be even better, so I'm excited for a couple years from now.

I bought this today at the Western NC Orchid Society show in Asheville, NC. So I can't claim blooming it myself, but I'm really happy with it and wanted to post.

I'm glad you resurrected it. At the Slipper Symposium I went from no roths to 3, and I'm looking for everything I can about them. Your flowers and photography are fantastic!

I would like to add... For those of you who grow indoors, what do you pot your plants in? I grow under lights in my basement in a plastic room. I pump humidity in to the point of being like a sauna, but my plants still dry out so fast. Right now my Paphs doing best (I don't have many) are...

Thanks everybody. The forum stopped sending me notices of your replies. I think it was because I didn't check all of the first ones as they came in. Water here is very soft, so I might still add a little, but it's good to know that I don't need to go buy that 50lb bag.
