    Yet Another Magic Lantern

    P. delenatii ‘V’ HCC/AOS x P. micranthum ‘Commodius’ From Fred Clarke SVO. It only took 2 years of growing it to get it to bloom after buying it as a blooming size plant. I think it has good form and color and I am very happy with it. There is a second bud developing behind the flower.

    Paph Pink Fred GVOS2020

The cross is P Fair Fred x P primulinum. P Fair Fred has fairrieanum and small percentages of several Barbata species and a few others. The flowers open sequentially but after 3 weeks or so they are all open together. 3 buds this year but have had as many as 5. The flowers have a faint sweet...

    Paphiopedilum barbigerum

This was represented by the seller as being semi-alba. It is a good grower and has become a regular bloomer, giving me 2 flowers per year. The flower buds first appear in June and open in October. It is still in the original 2 1/2 inch pot and is forming a nice clump of multiple growths.

    Paphiopedilum moquetteanum

This was supposed to be victoria-regina which it obviously is not. I contacted the vendor who offered to replace it but I decided to keep it. It is a rather large plant with leaf span of about 18”. The spike has produced 7 flowers and it looks like there will be one more. I couldn’t get a...

Paph Luna Moth 'Hairy Lemon' x Paph henryanum ' Tall Stem'

I really like this one. I grow it under lights, and it blooms so readily that the future health of the plant is in question. I am considering removing next year's flower buds to give the plant a chance to grow vegetatively. The blooms have a mild, pleasant musky fragrance.

    Paph Mem. Jack Fowlie

This cutie is a great windowsill plant. It is quite compact and grows well and blooms in low/medium light. The form of the bloom has improved since I bought the plant last year. Enjoy.

    Greetings!

Hello all, I have been growing orchids for several years, and am fairly new to growing Paphs. I grow inside in a window and under lights. My windows are getting shadier every year, so I am expanding into orchids that do well under these conditions, and that are fairly compact growers. I have...
