Has it flowered as big as when it was awarded in 2001,- NS 34cm, in your care?

Hi Justin, does Alford have rex as a parent? As it appears to have that yellow background rex contributes to breeding.

Cymbidium eburneum will only ever have 1 to 2 flowers per spike. Interesting, the flower looks like an eburneum. But they can get to quite large plants. they are quite happy in my area growing all the year around outside (subtropical like Florida) and will always flower in early spring.

The foliage is about 40cm across.

I flew home last Friday from a work conference in cold and rainy Melbourne, and this beautiful site of a Vanda jennae in the garden on a lovely warm sunny day greeted me.

Great potential, next flowering should be great on a bigger plant.
