A small plant, larger than helenae but still quite the mini. A delightful little flower.

Very nice form and colour!

Averyanov et al. considers coccineum to be a variety of barbigerum (var. lockianum) in Vietnam - a point of view they, in my opinion, argue quite well. Others prefer to see it as a separate species.

Any chance that we might see the plant in toto?

Kind regards,
Jens

Guess not; the ridiculously tiny file size limits here won't let me post it and I'd have to upload it to a different computer to resize it and back to this one (can't find a shareware graphics program anywhere for this HP windows computer), which involves physically moving this one and disconnecting everything attached to it and reconnecting to the other one and then reversing. Not worth it, sorry. I tried.
