Maxillariella vulcanica

This is a relatively recent acquisition, but it quickly settled down. It's been flowering for 3 months or so. It is kind of cute. I purchased it from Mundiflora. I used E-M1 in-camera focus stacking for all photos.

I don't think so, but my nose isn't so great (especially in the allergy season), but I'll try another sniff.

I have a tenuifolia and variabilis each mounted on tree fern and they both have such a wonderful fragrance.

Just got back from Anchorage. It wasn't a good trip, which included a visit to emergency room...

Dot, I'm growing in fairly dim light. Maybe slightly more than Phalaenopsis. But I don't know well about the culture of this species yet. The leaves are fairly yellow, but the lighting might be exaggerating it in the whole plant photo.

I'm thinking that I need to do the allergy training shots... This year was especially bad, but I feel like that it is getting worse every year.

I haven't grow them long enough, so I don't know yet. The new growths under my care are mostly the ones without the pseudobulbs now.
