I have a tenuifolia and variabilis each mounted on tree fern and they both have such a wonderful fragrance.

Just got back from Anchorage. It wasn't a good trip, which included a visit to emergency room...

Interesting how yellow the leaves are. Does it require high light?

Dot, I'm growing in fairly dim light. Maybe slightly more than Phalaenopsis. But I don't know well about the culture of this species yet. The leaves are fairly yellow, but the lighting might be exaggerating it in the whole plant photo.

That's a very intriguing flower. I empathize with allergy
season...the pollen count here is astounding. Everything is
covered with yellow stuff.

I'm thinking that I need to do the allergy training shots... This year was especially bad, but I feel like that it is getting worse every year.

Too cool, I didn't know this one yet!!!! You are really looking for the 'specials' :) !!!! Jean

I like to try something I don't know much about!

Very interesting growth habit. Do all the new growths develop bulbs eventually?

I haven't grow them long enough, so I don't know yet. The new growths under my care are mostly the ones without the pseudobulbs now.
