Are you talking about the plant in the middle? The sheath looks normal to me. Unless you can hold it up to the light and see a shriveled bud inside I see nothing to suggest that it has blasted.

Confirmed, blasted, the bloom is wilted black in sheath, wandering what caused this? Out of season blooming?

Sometimes it just happens. This past spring my Jade Dragon was swelling up nicely and then the bud just dried up in the sheath. Severe disappointment, it would have been the first bloom induced under my care. I had the same thing happen with Emeralde Isle but at least it's got three new growths coming on it as a consolation.

Paphluvr, I cheated and cut the long sheath leaf, to find a very dark purple, super hairy little bud, waiting to grow, hopefully!!!!
