A first flowering of this in-Charm plant. A lovely glossy sheen and very deep burgundy colour. A small plant only 8" high with the flower 4" across. Thought the dorsal would have been slightly larger coming from the Charlie.

No, no charles is a very unbalanced looking flower to me. I really like this
deep ruby color and the dorsal is in proportion to the rest of the bloom. Be
nice to it and don't let it hear you say bad things about that lovely dorsal.
 
Red Shift x charlesworthii doesn't even have a grex name, you'd have to talk to In-Charm about that, but you can still call yours Paph (Red Shift x charlesworthii) 'Burgundy Wax' if you want to.
