Braem et al in their new book consider mohrianum to be in the mastersianum complex:
“The fact is that no data has ever been brought forward to prove that Paphiopedilum mohrianum should not be accepted as an autonomous species. A comparison of the karyotype of P. mohrianum with those of P. mastersianum and P. bullenianum could show the answer.”
