First Bloom of a Paph. Seedling

Hi all, my Paph. Duguesclin has bloomed as a first bloom seedling (Paph. sukhakulii x Paph. mastersianum). I am very pleased! I am sorry, I can't seem to get the image to upload right side up.

    rungsuryanum

I really like this species. The flower color is beautiful and the plant size is great for my growing area. Unfortunately, here in the U.S.A. the plant is not yet legal. I truly hope that it will become legal in the near future. In what conditions do you grow and flower yours?

How to Bring my Paphs. through a Vacation

I will be vacationing in Costa Rica for two weeks. I have no one to take care of my Paphs. Can I sit them in a saucer of water while I am gone so that they do not dry out? Thank you in advance for any help that you can provide.
